We appreciate your concern and understand the importance of experience in the field of immigration law. While it’s true that our direct experience in immigration law may be limited, our background as seasoned litigators and practicing attorneys with a combined experience of 15 years has equipped us with a diverse skill set that is highly transferable to the role of a paralegal, regardless of the specific area of law. Our experience working alongside top-tier lawyers in general litigation has provided us with invaluable exposure to a wide array of legal fields, including constitutional law, taxation law, property law, municipal law, contract law, and service law, among others. This exposure has honed our ability to navigate through complex legal problems and grasp complex legal concepts, regardless of the area of law involved.

Our deep and thorough understanding of the common law system, developed through our education at the University of London and our extensive litigation experience in Pakistan (where the common law system prevails), has also ingrained in us a meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and strong comprehension and application skills—all of which are essential for effective paralegal work. Additionally, our experience in legal research and drafting ensures that we can efficiently and accurately find answers to legal queries and produce high-quality documents. We approach each task with dedication and a collaborative spirit, working closely with our clients to deliver high-quality results.

While we may be new to immigration law specifically, our broad legal expertise and adaptable mindset, coupled with a proactive approach to learning, position us to quickly learn and excel in this area, providing you with reliable and efficient support and confidently meeting—and exceeding—your expectations.

In addition to our extensive legal background, we have recently completed a specialized course on immigration law provided by the University of Pennsylvania, for which we have earned a certificate. This course has deepened our understanding of U.S. immigration law, equipping us with the foundational knowledge necessary to effectively assist in this area. Although this course does not equate to practical experience in the field, it reflects our commitment to continually enhancing our skills and ensuring that we are well-prepared to support your immigration law needs.

We understand how important it is to keep customer data secure, private and confidential. Our organization has taken several stringent security measures, such as:

  • For file sharing and email communication, we will be using Microsoft 365. It offers a comprehensive set of security features. Some of these features are:
    (a) Exchange Online Protection (EOP) is a built-in feature of Microsoft 365 that helps protect an organization from spam, malware, and phishing attacks. EOP uses multiple filtering technologies, such as Microsoft’s SmartScreen technology, to analyze email messages and identify potential threats.
    (b) Data Loss Prevention (DLP) helps prevent the accidental or intentional leakage of sensitive data, such as credit card numbers or Social Insurance Numbers, through email. DLP policies can be configured to automatically detect sensitive information in email messages and take appropriate actions, such as blocking the message, notifying the sender, or encrypting the content.
    (c) Email encryption ensures the confidentiality and integrity of the email messages by encrypting their content during transit and storage.
  • Every system in our office is password-protected to prevent any unauthorized use of data.
  • Our IT security team regularly installs the latest anti-virus software and updates to guard our servers.
  • We have protected USB ports in all our systems.
  • Important data is stored on centralized servers. The employees have restricted access to such servers, and cannot transfer client’s data to their systems.
  • All our software and hardware get updated on time and are well managed and secured.
